With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Barbara A. Smith of Charleston, West Virginia, born in Roanoke, Virginia, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. Barbara left this world on October 14, 2024 at the age of 93, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Blair McCormick Amole and Ella Louise Spenser; her husband Bill Smith; and her brother Blair "Mac" Amole. She is survived by: her children, Kathryn Fowler of Louisville, KY, Terry Potesta (Ron) of Charleston and Monty Smith (Pam) of Charleston; and her grandchildren, Peter Potesta (Abby), Blair Lewis (Lee), Kathryn Pinto (Jordan), William Potesta, Creed Fowler (Whitney), Erica Grazziani (Ed), Bryant Taylor and Lyndsay Taylor.
