He was predeceased by: his parents, Porter Barnes and Ethel Barnes; his former wife Emma; his siblings, Ronald Barnes, Bernadina Speiglburg, Pearl Barnes, Chloe Mays and Elsie Litton; and his great grandchild Rylee Joy McCutcheon.
He is survived by: his wife Delores; his children, Judy McCutcheon, Lois Barnes of Scott Depot, Tana (Mike), Brenda (Ray) of Nitro and Richard of Buffalo; his brother Cecil (Vickie) of Cross Lanes; and his grandchildren, Jeremy, Joey, Michael, Jason, Nathan, Aaron, Christin, Andy, Shaina and Ben. He is also survived by 19 great grandchildren, 2 great great grandchildren.
