It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Anthony Lezel Morrison of Charleston, West Virginia, who passed away on April 6, 2024, at the age of 65, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, William C. Morrison, Sr. and Louse Brooks Morrison; and his siblings, Rachel Lynn Morrison, Nora (Robinson) and Timothy Edward Morrison.
He is survived by: his children, Tionna Morrison of Charleston and Anthony Lexel Morrison, Jr. of Charleston; his grandsons, Anthony Lezel Morrison, Jr., Josiah A. C. Morrison of Charleston, Anthony T. Foye, Jr. of Charleston and Michael Shellman III of Charleston; his sister Jacqueline Marie; his brother-in-law Bishop Norman Jones of Dunbar; his brother Dr. William C. Jr.; his sister-in-law Jacqueline Kay Morrison of Winter Park, FL; and his siblings, Vanessa Ann Morrison (Tiffany Dawn Morrison) of Lexington, KY and Jerry Andre Shelton of Charleston. He is also survived by four nieces, six nephews, and a host of great-nieces, uncles, aunts, cousins, and friends.
