She was predeceased by: her parents, Howard Ernest and Ruth Jenkins Wallace; her husband James Denver Thaxton; and her sisters, Alma Gertrude Wallace and Reba Hinkle. She is also survived by Eight grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren and two great- great grandchildren.
