Anna Lois Burke Obituary

It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Anna Lois Burke (Charleston, West Virginia), born in Hitchins, Kentucky, who passed away on October 20, 2021, at the age of 95, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her great great grandchild Wyatt Holley; her parents, James Sammons and Myrtle Sammons (Hale); and her siblings, Mary Stewart, Elizabeth Rogers, Elmo, Sam, Lloyd, Clarence, Harlan and Arnold.

She is survived by: her husband John; her children, Herbie (Carol), Eddie (Patty) and Rita Bowles (late Ronnie); her grandchildren, Tonya Holley (late Robbie), Christie Shouldis (Mark), Herbie Burke II (Marsha), Hillary Burke, Bradley Burke, Josh Bowles (Emily) and Zach Bowles (Bobbi); her great grandchildren, Christopher Holley (Casey Graham), Jessica Holley (Shane Duffey), Ivy Hanna (Nick), Walker Shouldis (Brooke), Olivia Burke, Brevin Burke, Avery Bowles and Knox Bowles; and her great great grandchildren, Owen Kessel and Maddox Duffey.

Due to the continued concerns with the COVID-19 Pandemic and at the request of the Burke Family and the Funeral Home, we ask that if you plan to attend the Celebration service, please adhere to social distancing and wear a proper facial covering.
