It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Anna Jean Ross of Charleston, West Virginia, who passed away on October 14, 2020, at the age of 80, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Herbert McSurley and Grace Mary Gatens McSurley; her husband Lewis Ross; her children, Cathy Osborne and Greg Dearien; her sisters, Rosemary Atkins and Patty Landers; and her nephew Mike Landers.

She is survived by: her sons, Jimmy Blake (Leah) and Mark Hawkins (Rita); her grandchildren, Christopher Osborne (Monica), Sabra Blake, Jordan Blake (Janice), Graham Dearien (Meghan), Seth Dearien, Cole Shamblin and Joshua King; her great grandchildren, Levi, Lexi Osborne, Avery Blake, Cassius and Silas Dearien; her siblings, Diana Hussell (Harry), Janet Elswick, Ross McSurley and Patty Landers'; and her nephew Jeff Landers.

Due to the COVID-19 Pandemic, a walk through visitation will be held Tuesday, October 20th from 6:00 p. m. until 7:30 p. m. with a memorial service beginning at 7:30 p. m. with the Pastor Mike Long officiating. Due to the COVID-19 Pandemic, it is mandated by the Governor and the CDC that proper facial coverings be worn and that social distancing be observed.
