She was predeceased by: her mother Cindy Shelton; her stepfather Lynn Shelton; and her stepbrother Glen. She is survived by: her father John Elswick; her son Rickey Ray Hager (Abagail); her grandchildren, Grady and Kolby Hager; her stepmother Lynn Elswick; her siblings, Amy Gibson (Floyd), Crystal Atkins (Jody) and John Alan Elswick; and her stepsiblings, Adam, Terri, Kelli, Dorsel, Arden, Lisa, Jeanie and David. She is also survived by many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
