He was predeceased by: his father Carl Charlton; his brothers, Lil Carl, Randy and Ronnie Charlton; and his daughter Andrea Charlton.

He is survived by: his children, Sequaya Hunter, Ronald Sayles, Shanika Carter (Jahvon) and Adrian Carter; and his siblings, Cecil Charlton (Kelly Carpenter), Vicki Williams (Donald) and Kevin Charlton (Nancy). He is also survived by nieces, nephews and cousins.
