He was predeceased by: his son Alton 'Elbow Mullins Jr.; his parents, Ray Mullins and Gladys Mullins; and his siblings, Harold, Donna Nichols and Nedra Mullins.
He is survived by: his daughter Melissa Brooke Cobb of Charleston; his brothers, Steve Mullins of Belle, Phillip Mullins of Myrtle Beach, Scott Mullins of Teays Valley and Terry Mullins of Elkview; and his grandchildren, Keenan Cobb, Lexy Mullins and Emmalea Cobb.
