He was predeceased by: his parents, Leon E. Redman and Margaret E. Redman of Charleston; his former wife Norma Jean Redman (Newhouse); his grandparents, Mary A. Redman (Green), Albert H. and Pearlie S. Nelson (Booth); his son Robert Pauley; and his siblings, Billie Jo Redman and Leon T. Redman.
He is survived by: his fiancée Laura Newhouse; his daughter Heather Welch of Florida; his siblings, Moreticia Cox of Dry Branch, WV, Lorna McKeever of Charleston, Bertha Nelson of Charleston, Sandra Murphy Cosey of Augusta, GA and Bobby Lee Nelson of Jackson County, WV; and his parents-in-law, Robert Newhouse and Joyce Newhouse. He is also survived by 12 nieces; nine nephews; 17 great nieces; 17 great nephews.
