He was predeceased by: his wife Vestina McNeely; and his father Eugene "Gene" McNeely. He is survived by: his mother Linda Slack; his sons, Alan J. McNeely, II (Kathleen Davis) of Charleston, Austin McNeely (Jessica) and Xander McNeely of Charleston; and his siblings, Arthur McNeely of Ormond Beach, Florida, Theresa Dangerfield, Mary Vandewalle and Denise Gottleib.
