He was predeceased by: his grandparents, William R Knox of Charleston and Frank Robert Pennington of Marlinton; and his sister Kate Taylor of Charleston. He is survived by: his parents, Cynthia Knox of Charleston and Jeffrey Pennington of Charleston; and his niece Ella Kinder of Charleston.
