She was predeceased by: her parents, Edward Minor Brown Sr. and Carrie V. Randall; her husband Nathaniel Gibson Winston; and her son Clinton Brown. She is survived by: her children, Reginald Brown Sr. (Cynthia), Benita Lynn Smith (Rene), Pamela Marie Brown (Arthur) and Jerry Edward Glenn (Jennifer); and her daughter-in-law Karen Brown. She is also survived by nine grandchildren, and five great grandchildren.
