With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Laurence William Lloyd Jr. of Charles Town, West Virginia, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on February 28, 2025 at the age of 91. He was predeceased by: his parents, Laurence W. Lloyd, Sr. and Susan Ellen Jones Lloyd; and his sister Susan Ellen Lloyd Akin. He is survived by: his wife Nancy Lloyd; his children, Laurence W. Lloyd, III (Kathy) of Springdale, Ark and Marian Marshall Lloyd Dorsey (Patrick) of Martinsburg, WV; his grandchildren, Erin Johnson (Josh), Jessica Lloyd (Max White) and William Cody Dorsey; his nieces, Susan E. Akin and Johanna C. Akin; and his nephew Robert M. Akin, IV.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, March 6th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Charles Town Presbyterian Church (220 E Washington St, Charles Town, WV 25414). A celebration of life will be held on Thursday, March 6th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
