With heavy hearts, we announce the death of John Luther Darr Sr. of Charles Town, West Virginia, born in Leesburg, Virginia, who passed away on February 28, 2024 at the age of 77. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, George W. Darr and Frances L. Oden Darr; and his siblings, Paul Darr, Thomas Darr, Babe Macklen and Lorraine Roby.
He is survived by: his wife Carol Dailey Darr; his children, John (Darr, Jr.), Regina Schneider (Michael) and Judith Ann Popkins (James); his siblings, George Darr, Jr., Bobby Penegraft, Virginia Foreback, Mary Hudson and Patsy Garrett; and his pet Precious. He is also survived by six grandchildren; 12 great grandchildren.
