With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Jack Ronald Reed Sr. of Charles Town, West Virginia, born in Cumberland, Maryland, who passed away on November 27, 2023 at the age of 94. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, William Reed and Lula Reed (Cunningham); his wife Doris Reed (Dennison); his daughter Linda Zajdel (Reed); and his siblings, Roy J. Reed, William E. Reed, Harry Vernon Reed, Donald E. Reed and Shirley L. Raupach.
He is survived by: his sons, Jack R. Reed, Jr. (Sandra) of Charles Town and Bradley R. Reed (Kiley) of Hurricane, WV; his son-in-law Larry Zajdel of Cumberland; and his grandchildren, Nathan, Randy, Bradley, Isaac Reed, Katherine and Rebecca Zajdel. He is also survived by nine great-grandchildren.
