It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Audrey Brushe of Charles Town, West Virginia, who passed away on February 22, 2025, at the age of 90, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Glenn Kurtis Thompson and Mildred Virginia Skinner; her husbands, Kenneth Rhodes, James Ridgely and William Howard Brushe; her son Steven Rhodes; and her siblings, Ernest Winters and Delores Osborne.
She is survived by: her children, Kenneth R. Rhodes, Jr. of Knoxville, James E. Ridgely, Jr. of Hagerstown, Maryland and Darlene Metheny (Patrick) of Charles Town; her siblings, William Winters (Barbara) of Eastern Shore, Maryland, Virginia DeHart of Leonardtown and Barbara Gillot of Mechanicsville, Maryland; her grandchildren, Sean Walsh, Tony Romett, Nicole Romett, Steven Ridgely, Joshua Ridgely and Jason Ridgely; and her great grandchildren, Nathaniel Miller, Fiona Walsh, Roland Walsh, Anthony Romett and Audrey Mae Romett. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, March 6th 2025 at 9:00 AM at the Jefferson Chapel Funeral Home (114 N Mildred St, Ranson, WV 25438). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, March 6th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the same location.
