She was predeceased by: her parents, Dallas Carter and Flora Carter; and her siblings, Helena Farley, Dallas Carter, Wanda Tackett (Herman), Kennard Carter, Rosalee Bell and Todd Carter.
She is survived by: her children, Sandy McGraw (James) of Pecks Mill, WV and Erick Carter of Chapmanville; her stepchildren, Tina Varney (Kent) and Thompson; her brothers, Glenn Carter (Penny), Timothy Carter, Craig Carter, Robert Carter (Debbie) and James Carter (Elloise); her brother-in-law George Farley; her grandchildren, Corey, Tanner and Hayla McGraw; and her stepgrandchildren, Kendra and Kailey Varney.
