He is survived by: his close friend Kathy Stollings; his children, Sherman Davidson, James Davidson, Savannah Davidson and Rodney Adams; his sisters, Sandra (Chris Chafin), Rosa (Dana Lusher) and Carolyn (George Frye); and his sister-in-law Wanda Davidson.
