With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Robert Sperry (Chapmanville, West Virginia), born in Ragland, West Virginia, who passed away on October 31, 2020 at the age of 82. He was predeceased by: his parents, Dewey Sperry and Myrtle Sperry; and his brothers, Lawrence Sperry, Clarence Sperry and Billy Sperry.
He is survived by: his wife Nellie Sperry; his children, Herbert Sperry (Lisa) of Chapmanville, Robert "Earl" Sperry (Barbara) of Foster, Gene Sperry (Brianne) of Madison and Linda Sperry of Lick Creek; his siblings, Dewey Sperry (Darnell), Carl Sperry, Howard Sperry (Barbara), Arlan Sperry (Margie), Jean Rico and Mae Douglass; and his grandchildren, Melissa Elkins (Justin), Kim Fowler (Johnny), Andrew Sperry (Apple), Sheena Tarkenton (Jason), Robert "Earl" Sperry Jr. (Lisa), Nicholas Sperry (Jenny), Christian Ball, Noah Ball, Cameron Sperry, Colton Sperry, Tucker Sperry and Nevaeh Sperry. He is also survived by sixteen great-grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews and other family members.
