It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Leona Dingess (Chapmanville, West Virginia), who passed away on October 28, 2019, at the age of 84, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Arnold Scaggs and Claris Wheatley Scaggs; her husband Ernest Dingess; and her brother Herman Scaggs. She is survived by: her daughter Claris Ann Dingess Vance (Leonard); her siblings, Lois Scaggs, Regina Browning (Sidney) and James Scaggs; her grandchildren, Vanessa Kirk (Chad) and Jason Vance; her great grandchildren, Owen Kirk, Mollie Kirk and Terry Austin Vance; her close friends, Deanna Roberts, Mary Farmer and Kaye Triplett; and her adoptive daughter Hope Farley.
