It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Larry Darrell Adkins of Chapmanville, West Virginia, who passed away on September 16, 2020, at the age of 73, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Carmel Adkins and Rebel Adkins; his wife Ilene Adkins; and his siblings, Sharon Harmon and Jerry Woodrum.
He is survived by: his children, Rita Gillenwater (Bobby) of Harts, Jennifer Sanders (James) of Hamlin, Michelle Bunting of Danville, Christy Mitchell of Danville, Bobbi Ann Adkins of Chapmanville, Jackie Adkins of Alkol, Larry "Sam" Adkins (Peggy) of Danville and Ricky Queen of Myrtle Beach, SC; his siblings-in-law, Jackie Harmon of Chapmanville and Linda Woodrum of Big Ugly, Harts; his niece Charlene Adkins of Big Ugly, Harts; and his nephews, Tony Woodrum of Michigan and Michael Woodrum of West Madison. He is also survived by many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
