He was predeceased by: his grandparents, Alton, Cella Ball, Jack and Blanche Hager. He is survived by: his parents, Kennith Jack and Janet Dean Hager of Hewetts Creek; his close friend Lois Ball; his daughters, Kelly Hager and Amanda Hager; his sisters, Bonnie Woods and Patti Ball; his grandchildren, Morgan Hager, Shelby Dotson and Alex Irvin; his brothers-in-law, Greg Woods and Tony Ball; his nephews, Jayson, Matthew Woods, Joshua and Jeremy Ball; and his pets, Lucky and Blackie.

In lieu of flowers the family asks that memorial contributions be made to the Recovery Point West Virginia.
