It is with great sadness that we announce the death of John Dingess Jr. (Chapmanville, West Virginia), born in Sarah Ann, West Virginia, who passed away on February 19, 2019, at the age of 92, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, John F. Dingess and Ella Meadows Dingess; his wife Virginia Farris Dingess; and his siblings, Sena Dingess, Myrtle Brown, Rufus, Harry, Bill, Neal and Cush.

He is survived by: his children, Linda Dingess, Sheila Dingess of Chapmanville, W. V, Melvin Dingess (Karen) of Chapmanville, W. V, Jerry Dingess (Theresa) of Chapmanville, W. V, John Dingess III of Chapmanville, W. V and Kenneth Dingess (Carolyn) of Garland, Texas; his grandchildren, Melinda McComas of Huntington, W. V, Jeremy Dingess (Angie Craddock) of Logan, W. V, Allison Dingess (Chris Ojeda) of Charleston, W. V, Timothy Dingess of Carrollton and Kimberly Dingess of Pearl, Miss.; and his great grandchildren, Jaden Dingess, Aida Ojeda and Baby Ojeda.
