He was predeceased by: his parents, William "Bill" Deel and Lura Deel (Elkins); his daughter Jennifer Deel; his brother-in-law Eddie Ferrell; and his grandmother Elaine Freeman.
He is survived by: his wife Kolena Deel; his children, Brittany Maynard (Zack), Olivia Freeman (Justin Stapleton) and James "Michael" Deel; his siblings, Geraldine Ferrell, Dreama Hunt (Virgil), Della Rudesill (John), Naomi Deel and David Deel (Denise); his grandchildren, Makenzie Deel, Jennifer "Jenni" Maynard, Kayne Stapleton and Teagan Maynard; his close friends, Mark Lambert (Shelley Stollings) and Chris Mitchell (Jami); and his parents-in-law, Harry and Ilene Freeman. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, friends and family.
