He was predeceased by: his parents, Wornie Jack and Lola Collins; his wife Sharon Lynn Collins; and his grandparents, Wornie, Annie Collins and Lori Evans.

He is survived by: his children, Lori Collins, Jaci Collins (Keisha), Jason Collins (Cindy) and William Blevins; his siblings, Ann Collins, Victoria Smith, Joanna Collins, Scarlett Goodwin, Kevin Collins (Mary), Eric Thompson and Brent Cherrington; his brother-in-law Larry Stollings; his grandchildren, Shannon, Tyler Blackburn, Austin, Halee, Morgan Collins and Shelby Collins; and his great grandchildren, Caleb Collins and Harper Blackburn.
