She is survived by: her husband Charles Peyton; her children, Carolina Peyton (Jacob Shadd), Mary Mills and Earlest Peyton; and her siblings, Helen Tolliver, Eddie Griggs, Tommy Griggs and David Griggs. She is also survived by eight grandchildren.
