She was predeceased by: her father James Dewey; and her siblings, James Dewey Smith, Jr., Harold Franklin Smith, Sr. (Bonnie), George Cecil Smith, Sr. (Ella), Charles William Smith, Sr., Ernest Eugene Smith, Sr., Roger Lee Smith, Raymond Douglas Smith (Joetta Bush), Baby Smith, Wilma Arlene Salyers and Mary Effie Kelley.
She is survived by: her daughter Sandra Perdue; her brothers, Edward Arthur Smith and Howard Clinton Smith, Sr. (Sharon); her sisters-in-law, Margaret Ann Smith, Betty Ruth Smith and Trish Smith; her nieces, Angel Dixon (John), Joyce Howard, Samantha Swanson and Billie Horan; and her nephew Joseph Smith.
