With heavy hearts, we announce the death of James H. Sammons of Ceredo, West Virginia, born in Carter, Kentucky, who passed away on June 20, 2024 at the age of 78. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Orval Sammons and Thelma Sammons (Carroll); his wife Carol Ann Sammons (Perry); his siblings, Charlie Sammons (Vivian Sammons), Leroy Sammons (Shirley Sammons), Ernest Sammons, Ode Sammons, Lilly Sammons, Sabra Sammons and Orval Sammons; and his nephews, Daniel Sammons, Randy Sammons and Mikael Sammons.
