He was predeceased by: his parents, Thomas Carson and Kathleen Archer Pelfrey; his former wife Mary Lou Cremeans Pelfrey; and his siblings, Nancy Pelfrey, Billie Rose Pelfrey and Thomas Earl Pelfrey.
He is survived by: his wife Shea Davis Ashworth Pelfrey; his children, Tara Spears (Sam) and Brad Pelfrey (Rebecca); his siblings, Katherine Pelfrey Johnson, Jim Pelfrey (Faye) and George Pelfrey (Nora); his granddaughter Bethany Lubrano (Nick); his brothers, Baylee Wood (Tyler), Dylan Spears (Kara), Aubrey and Quinn Pelfrey; his great grandchild Scarlett Wood; his sons, Chris Ashworth (Melissa) and Richard Ashworth (Chrysan); and his grandchildren, Chloe, Nathan, Michael and Patrick.
Visitation was held on Saturday, January 25th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the First Baptist Church of Kenova (1120 Poplar St, Kenova, WV 25530). A funeral service was held on Saturday, January 25th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
