With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Betty Joy Blake of Ceredo, West Virginia, born in Huntington, West Virginia, who passed away on October 16, 2021 at the age of 94. She was predeceased by: her parents, Delbert Gibson and Ethel Hicks Gibson; her former husband Lawrence Ross, Jr.; her husband George Blake; her daughters, Linda Reffitt and Betty Frances Walters; and her siblings, James Gibson, Charles Gibson, Delbert L. Gibson, Louise Lemons, Carolyn Smith and Dorothy Gibson.
She is survived by: her children, Robert Ross (Cathy) and Donna Conn (Douglas). She is also survived by grandchildren, great grandchildren and great great grandchildren.
Friends are asked to wear a mask and maintain social distancing.
