He was predeceased by: his parents, Ashby Lewis Cayton, Jr. and Carolyn E. Yost Cayton; and his brother Michael Cayton. He is survived by: his children, Ashby Lewis Cayton III (Amanda) of Morgantown, WV, Alicia Daly (Mike) of Rochester, NY and Alexis Dillon (Slade) of Center Point, WV; his siblings, Sonja Stewart of Raeford, NC and Rick Cayton (April) of Salem, WV; his grandchildren, Katelyn Powell, Ashby Lewis Cayton IV, Michael Daly, Marshal Daly, Arris Dillon and Ambel Dillon; his close friends, Alessa Ash, Jake Ash, Craig and Amber Lamp; and also, James and Peytin Lamp.
