He was predeceased by: his parents, Otis and Bessie; his siblings, Howard, Jack, Chuck, Billy, Buddy, Helen and Birdie; his wife Virginia; and his son Michael.

He is survived by: his sons, David (Melissa) of Hughes Creek, Greg (Glenna) of Belle, Bradley (Mary Beth) of Sissonville and Bryan (Mary) of Cool Springs, NC.; and also, Sterling Proctor of Columbus, OH and Paul Bench of Kimberly.

Due to COVID-19 pandemic social distancing and face coverings are required at the church and cemetery.
