She is survived by: her son Gregory Carpenter; her granddaughter Lyra Carpenter; her siblings, Patty Ellis Thurman, Shirley Ellis Stennett and Stacy Ellis (Yogi); her cousin Marie Ellis Nadji; her uncle Frank Crosky; and her aunt Annabel Day. She is also survived by other loving cousins, nieces, and nephews.
