He was predeceased by: his parents, Herbert L. McCord Sr. and Emma Gaye Jackson McCord; his sister Marlena M. Ponceroff; and his grandparents, Elbert A., Amanda J. McCord, Flora M. and James R. Jackson.
He is survived by: his wife Vicki Robinson McCord; his son Jason Lee McCord of Cassville; his grandsons, Logan and Luke Wells; and his brothers, James A. (Linda McCord) and Herbert L. (Joyce McCord Jr.). He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers the family request that donations be made in John's memory to the funeral home to assist the family with funeral expenses.
