Susie Jo Riggs Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Susie Jo Riggs of Carolina, West Virginia, who passed away on April 15, 2025 at the age of 90. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Everett Ross Ice and Sylvia P. Hayes Ice Parrish; her husband Lester Junior Riggs; her sisters, Yvonne Musick and Alice "Bunny" Anderson; her son-in-law Craig Henderson; her sisters-in-law, Dollie Riggs, Inez Floyd and Nellie Kendall; her grandson Marshall Bowers; and her brothers-in-law, Lorne, Ora "Dutch", Sammy, Jack and William Riggs.
She is survived by: her daughters, Barbara Henderson of Carolina, Arlene Wilson (Sam) of Mannington and Diana Tyler (Daniel Hively) of Farmington; her grandchildren, Nikki, Jason Tennant, Chasity Wilson, Shanna Thornton (Dwayne), Jonathan, Nicole Riggs and Olen Henderson; and her great grandchildren, Keegun McCullough (Shelby), Kaden Tennant, Eve, Silas, Trinity Hine, Khyree Morris, Keturrah Little and Rycen Riggs.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Mannington Church of Christ, 706 E. Main St., Mannington, WV 26582 for the African Mission Fund.
