Cleaver (Capon Bridge, West Virginia), born in Augusta, West Virginia, who passed away on September 11, 2021, at the age of 80, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Julian T. Whitacre and Pauline Brooks Whitacre; her spouse Jesse F. Cleaver; her stepdaughter Sandra Cleaver; and her siblings, Carroll E. Whitacre and Darlene Driver.
She is survived by: her children, Howard F. Cleaver (Lisa) of Berryville, VA, Barbara L. Bergdoll (Robert) of Augusta, WV and Brenda K. VanMeter (Mark) of Moorefield, WV; her sisters, Janet Wolfe (Ronnie) of Augusta, WV, Bonnie Kirk (Clint) of Winchester, VA and Mary Jane Whetzel (Kenney) of Shanks, WV; and her stepson Amby F. Cleaver (Jeannie) of Fort Ashby, WV. She is also survived by four grandchildren, four step-grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
