She was predeceased by: her parents, James Albert and Rosie Ellen Crump Oiler. She is survived by: her husband Pastor Clinton Ray Brown; her siblings, Max, Arnold, Virgil, Vernon, Junior, Harold, William, Leonard, Phyllis Myers, Virginia Elizabeth Oliver, Dorothy Meadows and Marjorie Simms; her son Jerry; her grandchildren, Maggie King and Aaron Brown; her sister Susie Hooper; and her children, Diann Legg (R. B.), Donna Clonch (George), Linda King, Allen Steven Brown, Ray Dewayne (Jane) and Eric Bess. She is also survived by 17 grandchildren and 19 great-grandchildren.
