With heavy hearts, we announce the death of James Jenkins of Cannelton, West Virginia, who passed away on April 30, 2023. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his wife Jean Jenkins (Moore); and his sister Wanda Nunnery (Jenkins). He is survived by: his sons, Jimbo (Rosemary) and Jerry (Barbara); his grandchildren, Jason (Stephanie), John (Joy), Joshua (Holli) and Jessica (Tom); and his great grandchildren, Claire, Ryan, Jonah, Tyler, Samuel, Sheperd, Jordan and Shelby. He is also survived by special friends, beloved nieces, nephews and other extended family.

“Jerry & Jimbo, So sorry to hear about the passing of your father. I always enjoyed sitting down and talking with him. He loved his family first but just getting out in the woods and hunting were close behind. The deer population will increase in leaps and bounds in the days to come. We are very sorry that we can't make it to the funeral as we will be in Hilton Head all next week. But our thoughts will be there. Love, Bob & Nancy Burton”
