James Fizer Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of James Fizer of Cannelton, West Virginia, who passed away on February 3, 2025 at the age of 101. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Lew Fizer and Essie Fizer (Levassey); his former wife Peggy Fizer; his wife Betty Fizer; and his children, Gary Fizer, Jean Wright Turner and Glen Pennington.
He is survived by: his children, Greg Fizer, Goldie Wright Pennington, Mary Perry and Linda Bostic; his extended family James Fizer; his children, Zayden, Mavrick, Charles Fizer, Aiden, Kade, Kristen (Austin), Stacy Morris, Raelyn, Gunner, Angela Foster, Colin, Amanda, Katya, Derek, Caleb, Ashley, Shianna, Jeff Perry and Chloe (Elizabeth Payne); his grandchildren, Wesley, Madison and Thomas Perry; and his children, Chase, Hunter, Christina, Scarlett, Kimberly Bostic Gibson, Shelby, Trevor, Kenita Chumas, Sawyer, Kash, Jefinn, Jacob, Michael Turner, Olin (Robin Evans) and Gracie (Betsy Turner James). He is also survived by his 13 grandchildren, 26 great- grandchildren, and 10 great-great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, February 11th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Campbell Memorial Baptist Church (115 Longacre Wy, Smithers, WV 25186). A celebration of life was held on Tuesday, February 11th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
