He was predeceased by: his parents, Raymond Petry and Louise Petry; his wife Elizabeth Petry; and his siblings, Harold Petry and Joyce Whittington.
He is survived by: his brother William Petry (Karen); his sons, Jason Petry (Lynn) of Handley and Ray Petry of Olympia, Washington; and his grandchildren, Zack, Colin, Harley and Summer.
