It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Sarah Fletcher of Canaan Valley, West Virginia, born in Arthurdale, West Virginia, who passed away on May 30, 2023, at the age of 80, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Ben Thompson and Barbra Dorthy Thompson (Mayor); her husband Jim Fletcher; and her brothers, Frank Thompson and Daniel Thompson.
She is survived by: her son Ben Fletcher (Karen) of Charlotte, NC; her granddaughters, Caroline Fletcher of Washington, D. C. and Maggie Fletcher of Charlotte, NC; her sister-in-law Nancy Thompson; her nieces and nephews, Jennifer Snyder (Bill), Robert Thompson (Kathy), Brian Thompson (Daniel), Mike Fletcher, Leigh Fletcher, Kelly Fletcher, Johanna Weldon (Walt) and Jenny Faye (Chris); her great-nephews, Alex Snyder (Patty Riddle) and Adam Snyder (Emily); and also Lynnlee Snyder.
