It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Sylvia Mae Hurt of Camp Creek, West Virginia, who passed away on November 24, 2024, at the age of 77, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Aubrey French and Ada French Thornton; her grandson Jeffrey Miles Thornton; her sister Juanita White; and her son-in-law Earl Dutcher.
She is survived by: her husband Ronnie Lee Hurt of Camp Creek; her children, Jacqueline Dutcher (Tim Thomas) of Flat Top, Kayla Wills (James Profitt) of Camp Creek, Jackie Hurt (Stacey Whittaker) of Camp Creek, Eric Hurt (Christie) of Flat Top and Kevin Hurt of Camp Creek; and her siblings, Vivian Arrington (Kent) of Bluewell, Kermit French (Dreama) of Green Valley and Roger French (Mary) of Leiston. She is also survived by eight grandchildren; six great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Friday, November 29th 2024 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the Seaver Funeral Home (1507 N Walker St, Princeton, WV 24740). A funeral service was held on Friday, November 29th 2024 at 1:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Friday, November 29th 2024 at the Roselawn Memorial Gardens.
