She was predeceased by: her parents, Lester Chambers and Olivia Neely Chambers; her husband Edgar Whipkey; her sons, Lemoyne and Ronald Whipkey (Shirley); her children-in-law, Howard Parrish and Linda Whipkey (Hypes); and her siblings, Cleo Shriver, Theo McCartney, Ruth Johnson, Maxine Arnold, Thelma Chambers, Vesta Chambers and Earl Chambers.
She is survived by: her children, Norma Parrish of Oak Hill, WV and Leonard Whipkey of Hico, WV; her daughter-in-law Naomi Whipkey of Ansted, WV; her grandchildren, Terry Franklin (Bobby), Cathy Stump (Claude), Cynthia Patton (Rick), Kevin Whipkey (Judy), Sean Whipkey (Linda), Tim Whipkey (Tonya), Charles Whipkey (Kim) and Heath Whipkey (Debbie); her sisters, Phyllis Bushaw (Claude) of Banning, CA and Patty Scott; and her sister-in-law Imogene Chamber. She is also survived by five great granddaughters and three great grandsons.
