Roy Roger Woods Sr. 77, of Cameron, WV passed away Wednesday October 27, 2021 at home. Roy was born March 19, 1944 in Glen Easton, WV son of the late Charles and Essie Parsons Woods. A Christian by faith. Retired from Ormet as a welder. A member of the Moundsville American Legion and the V.F.W. #437. An avid Fisherman, loved playing cards, gardening, the Steelers, Pirates and WVU Mountaineers. Preceded in death by daughter, Elaine Crane, infant sister, Baby Ruthy, brothers, Tom, Mick, Eugene, Ray, Lawrence and Lloyd. Survived by his wife, Joyce Ann Majewski Woods, daughter, Lisa (Ron) Wood of Moundsville, son, Roy Jr. (Jennifer) Woods of Cameron, one sister Jane Crow and one brother, Donnie Woods both of Moundsville, WV; 8 grandchildren, Stasha, Beth, Ashley, Emily, Billy, Bailey, Mikalah, Macie; and 8 great-grandchildren, David, Jordan, Aric, Melony, Jeremiah, Kolten, Gaberiel, and Piper and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins. Visitation Monday November 1, 2021 from 2-4 & 6-8 p.m. at the Anderson Funeral Home & Cremation Services 1109 2nd St where services will be held Tuesday November 2, 2021 at 11:30 a.m. with Pastor Ron Wilfong officiating. Final resting place Riverview Cemetery.
