He was predeceased by: his parents, Gilbert Yocum and Dorothy Yocum (Holiday); his son Clifton Eugene Yocum Jr.; his siblings, Gilbert "Jake" Yocum, Milford "Pete" Yocum, Ronald Yocum, Claude Yocum, Virginia Wade, Marjorie Richmond and Electa Myers; and his grandchildren, Kirsten, Shania, Malachi and Levi Sullivan Yocum.
He is survived by: his wife Sondra Jim Hooker Yocum; his children, James Scott Yocum of Galveston, Darrin Eugene Yocum of Cameron and Tammie Rice (Steve) of Cameron; his sister Sandra Taylor of Moundsville; and his close friend Jack Knox. He is also survived by five grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.
