He was predeceased by: his parents, James Edward and Edna Goodson (Hatcher); and his sister Janet Summers. He is survived by: his wife Velma "Mackie" Goodson (Hatcher); his children, Lisa Snyder (Kelly) of Ripley, Lori Renner (Jeff) of Arvilla, WV, Lynn Allen of Middletown, DE and Tommy Goodson (Bri) of Ravenswood; and his grandchildren, Becca Snyder of St. Marys, WV, Luke, Rachel Snyder of Ripley, Derek Renner of Akron, OH, Danielle Casto (Drew) of Arvilla, WV, Dillon Renner (Sarah) of Oxford, England, Alisha Dunkelberger (Trey), Drew Allen of Elkton, MD, Emily and Matthew Goodson of Ravenswood, WV..
