He was predeceased by: his father James Alvie Montgomery; and his wife Wilma Montgomery (Stout). He is survived by: his children, Vicky M. Bowler (Dan) of Hartland, CT, Jamie Montgomery of Camden and Julie Montgomery of Camden; his grandchildren, Ashley Nicole "Nikki" Hefner, Julian Chant Floyd, Lauren Marie Terrell and Nathaniel Ezra Bowler; his great grandchildren, Zander Floyd, Landen Floyd, Julian Floyd, Hunter Hefner, Kamryn Hefner, Joseph Slawter, Donovan Thompson and Drevaughn Thompson; and his brother Henry Montgomery of Illinois.
