James left this world on June 25, 2024 at the age of 79, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. He was predeceased by: his parents, James Willis Gum and Opal Lottie Gum (Grogg); his spouse Aretta Pearl Gum (Harris); and his sister Louise Garrison. He is survived by: his children, Pamela Lamb (Gordon Bandy) of Camden and James Robert "Robbie" Gum, II (Shelia Annette) of Camden; his grandsons, Zachary Lamb and Eric Marshall; his great grandchildren, Mason, Eli Lamb and Landon Wimer; and his siblings, Darrell Laco Gum of Camden, Donzel Gum of Camden, Barbara Shirley Paugh of Flemington and Judy Carolyn Paugh of Weston. He is also survived by his family, especially his grandkids and great grandkids, and his many friends.
