It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Gertrude Iona Scadden in Camden, West Virginia, who passed away on December 1, 2021, at the age of 100, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Calvin Templeton and Sena Martin Templeton; her husband George Bernard Scadden; and her son Beryl Edward Scadden. She is survived by: her children, Lester Scadden, Gary Scadden (Diana) and Roxie Ambrose (George); and her grandchildren, Dallas Scadden (Missy), Elizabeth Ann Laeng (Eric), Jennifer Shultz (John), Angela Lucas (Paul), Jayson Scadden (Erin) and Tammy Bailey (Mark). She is also survived by 18 great-grandchildren; seven great-great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to the Pleasants County Senior Center.
